For the first time NATE sponsored a booth at the APDT conference this year, which was held in Portland, Oregon, Oct. 30 to Nov. 2.

NATE Trainer, and newest Board Member, Eric Sanford, volunteered his time not only to man the booth and educate other trainers about the sport, but performed a Treibball demonstration with his trusty side kick Jet-Fly I.

Eric found that NATE's presence at the conference was a big success and attending trainers were excited to see Treibball being represented there.

NATE’s main Mission Statement is …“to promote worldwide participation of the sport of Treibball and educate the public about training and competition for the sport.”

If any other members or trainers would like more information on how they can help promote NATE and Treibball, please contact info@nationaltreibball.com.

A Special Thanks to Eric, Jet and his crew of volunteers , as well as the entire NATE Board for volunteering their time to make this event come together and a huge success!

NATE ANNOUNCES THE REVISION OF THE SKILL CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

The Skill Certification Program is an excellent way for NATE members to assess their progress as they train for the Standard and Balls N Order titling games. We have revised the program to align with the 2019 Rules Handbook, clarify the directions, and simplify the process for handlers and evaluators.

Our website has been updated and expanded to cover all the changes including video samples of each level and skill. Check it out! https://www.nationaltreibball.com/Skills-Certification-Prog…

For those already using the program we have a one-page Summary of Changes you can access from the Skill Certification Program page. These changes will not impact Skill Certifications already earned. If you are in the middle of the program, you will be able to continue from your current position. There is no need to repeat any level.

Members: Save the date for a Clubhouse Chat 4 pm PST / 7 pm EST Wednesday, October 23rd where we will review the improvements and help you integrate skills tests into your training.

    New NATE Game!

    2019 Handbook!

NATE ANNOUNCES THE RELEASE OF OUR 2019 RULE REVISION and NEW BALLS N ORDER GAME

Major rule changes focus the game on bringing in the point ball first and allows for individual dog working styles. No longer will your dog need to hold a static start position or wait 3 seconds behind the point ball.

Our new Balls N Order Game will involve bringing the balls into the goal in a designated order. This requires excellent directional skills and impulse control. It is challenging and very fun to play!

Click here for the complete revised NATE Official Rules Handbook including the Balls N Order game.2019 Handbook

For a quick overview of the changes, review this handy Summary of Changes.Summary of Changes

The last page of the Handbook is the handiest page ever! Have you been down at your training field or working with a group of Treibball students and tried to keep it all straight as you set up for a practice or Video Titling run? How far is the point ball? What is the Maximum Course Time? Was that a fault? 'ACK!' you say as you flip through the Rules Handbook. Now you can print out this handy dandy Super Quick Reference Guide to laminate or tape it to the back of your training clipboard:
