Are you struggling to find a field where you can film your video title runs? NATE is introducing pop-up fields. Pop-up fields can be set up in a larger training field, an open space or at a school or park. The field will not be required to have solid fences on four sides. Your dog must just stay within the boundary lines for the run to qualify. Find more info here

Monica Pielage receives the first Outstanding Title at the Novice Level. She reports that working towards an Outstanding Title in Novice while also working on her Advanced Title allowed her and Jojo to reinforce the game and practice being successful.

NATE's Video Titling Program is attracting treibball competitors from across the country. NATE's Facebook page offers discussion of the rules and example videos of dogs both titling and achieving skills certificates.

NATE is very happy to announce a new program available to our members.  Skills Certification is a form of proficiency testing, to help handlers fine-tune their training plans (with the added benefit of a little recognition thrown in for fun!).

There are three Skill categories -- Distance, Directional Cues and Pushing -- each broken into three Levels of proficiency.  Testing must be performed by a Trainer who is also a member of NATE (see our Trainer Locator page), although guidelines are in process to give the option of video submission: we recognize that our members are scattered far and wide!

Preliminary response to the program has been very positive, from both professional trainers and Members alike.  Our first certificates have been awarded, and we look forward to many more.
