In the Balls N Order run you will see great teamwork and straight pushing after Chase is easily directed to the correct balls. Awesome! https://youtu.be/jhFqIgRhN1E    https://youtu.be/_aZNCcVlsas

    Sandi Pensinger 1956-2021

Sandi Pensinger, founding member of NATE and Board Member Emeritus, passed away on September 19th. When Sandi learned about Treibball, she loved that it could be played by all kinds of dogs. It became a passion for her as she introduced it to her students at Living with Dogs in Aptos, California. She created a Treibball Handbook in 2010, a course for Tawzer in 2011, and a course for Fenzi in 2015. Her videos were invaluable to bringing Treibball to the US and even instructing enthusiasts in other countries. At an APDT round table in 2014, Sandi and other core players began creating the rules and regulations for a new venue for Treibball in the USA. Sandi drove the forming of the National Association of Treibball Enthusiasts. She was an inspiring instructor and mentor to so many. Treibball and NATE owe an immeasurable debt to Sandi. She will be deeply missed by many humans and dogs.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 10th from 2:00 to 5:00 PST at the Living with Dogs field. A Zoom gathering will be running at the event for those who cannot attend in person.

Let’s celebrate Kathy and Koda on earning their Novice Standard title. Koda is able to perform a call off and return to pushing the point ball in first, avoiding a penalty. After that he easily brings in the next two balls and is clearly having fun. Nice work!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzVuBycps4M
